Fill-out and Submit the Small Claims Request Form. Password is 9119.

 
After reviewing your request we will call you to confirm your instructions and to obtain payment. 

Small Claims Fee = $125, plus Court fees & Additional fees, if applicable. * (see table below)

Court Fee (based on the amount of Claim)  Fee
Less than or equal to $1,500  $30
Greater than $1,500, but less than or equal to $5,000  $50
Greater than $5,000, but less than or equal to $7,500 - Natural person only  $75
 If more than 12 claims have been filed in the previous 12 months  $100
Additional Fees (if applicable, please add to Court Fee)  
Add $25 for each additional defendent on the same case and at the same address  $25
Add $55 for each additional defendent on same case but at a different address within Orange County  $55

 

Please Note: Your claim cannot be more than $5,000 if you are a business or public entity or for more than $7,500 if you are a natural person (including a sole proprietor). If you have a claim for more than this amount over the limit, you may sue in the civil division of the trial court or you may sue in the small claims court and give up your right to the amount over the limit. You cannot, however, file more than two cases in small claims court for more than $2,500 each during a calendar year.
